Donations
We do accept unrestricted donations of artifacts and papers that will help us preserve the reality of World War II. We cannot promise to exhibit pieces, but we accept artifacts we believe will be of value to the museum’s mission.
We already have sufficient examples of helmets, hats, medals, guns and uniforms with the possible exception of Russian, Japanese and Italian ones. Correspondences, except in very rare instances [such as letters from combat, or from prisoners of war] we cannot use. Generally, photographs are of interest to us unless they are purely personal in nature or relate to training only.
Please send us an email, or regular mail, with as much information as possible, as well as pictures. We particularly want to know the personal history of artifacts. We will let you know if we can accept them for the museum. |
